Village Elenovo (Sliven District) is located in Southeast Bulgaria, about 15km. from Nova Zagora and 40 km from the city of Sliven. The village is situated at the foot of The Saint Ilia`s heights from where comes the name of one of the brands of wine. Old name of the village is Karadja Muratliy. There are many dams, two parks, and the rural and hunting tourism is developing.

Nearby is Karanovskata mound, which shows life at the end of VII century BC and the countryside " Danyova Vodenitsa” with ancient necropolis of the I-st century. Northwest of Elenovo is a funeral mound, which is part of the mound necropolis region Yurneya where findings dated late-Iron Age, Roman Age and Middle Bulgarian. They are remnants of an ancient settlement, dated to the Early Bronze Age - 4000g. BC Researchers intend paramount place of the mound of ancient settlements in Europe, defining it as "The Bulgarian Stonehenge”.
